Four valleys allow an access to the cols and summits exceeding 3000 m
in the border mountains range. The signposted footpaths connecting
the 5 refuges of the area will lead you to a small paradise of glaciers
and high-altitude lakes. For the lovers of cultural heritage our village is provided
with a chapel of the XIth century : "Saint Pierre d'Extravache" and in the surroundings
there are splendid baroque churches and numerous fortifications.

Lovers of sensations can practise easily climbing, paragliding, canyonning, via ferrata, glaciers...

Winter Activities

In winter, the chalet is not reachable by car.
You will have to take the ski-bus to the Chapelle "La Delivrance"
where starts the cross-country skiing trail.
The last 3 km need to go skiing, walking or with snow-shoes, by the trail.
Your luggage will be taken to the chalet.
The cross-country skiing area of 25 km marked out pistes is just at the chalet door
and you can ramble along many pistes with your snowshoes.
